Analysts are increasingly asked to do more with less, whether it involves finding people, delving into social media, or researching new topics.    While there are many great subscription based resources that can assist with these tasks, there are many more free resources out there that can offer comparable services.  Free resources may involve open source options available to the public as well as federal, state and local sources limited to those working in a government capacity. Open source intelligence is a rapidly evolving field and often the resources available in the OSINT universe can vastly dwarf other traditional law enforcement sources.  This presentation will cover several free OSINT resources as well as law enforcement restricted resources.  Also covered are free tools that can make your life easier and how to be on the lookout for the next great free tool.
