Interested in learning crime mapping and/or MS Access?  Join us for one of our 3 day courses:

Crime Mapping & Analysis Using ArcGIS Pro - Intro

This hands-on course provides students with a basic overview of crime mapping techniques and is designed for students with little or no experience in crime mapping. Students use GIS technology analyze crime and known offender data by adding this data to a base map, querying by attribute, determining spatial patterns within the data, and creating maps ready for distribution. Topics include working within ArcMap and ArcCatalog, learning coordinate system basics, exploring layer properties, reviewing data fields and records, querying data using several different methods, and layout design. Students who complete this course are able to add crime and offender data to a map, find patterns, and produce meaningful maps. This course is offered as a 3 days in-person course from 8 am to 4 pm.
