Position Description

Definition
Incumbents manage a multiagency team that performs research and analysis on criminal, cyber, and terrorism information to develop intelligence products and assist in related investigations.  Incumbents supervise professional, technical, and other office support staff. 

Distinguishing Characteristics
This position serves at the pleasure of the Sheriff and is not subject to the competitive requirements of the Civil Service Rules of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
