Incumbents perform analysis of behaviors associated with criminal activity, terrorism, and targeted violence. Incumbents may be assigned to offsite locations periodically to support multi-agency efforts.
Distinguishing Characteristics
This position serves at the pleasure of the Sheriff and is not subject to the competitive requirements of the Civil Service Rules of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Position Information
This LVMPD position is housed in the Southern Nevada Counter Terrorism Center and performs a variety of analytical, investigative, technical, administrative and research functions in support of the fusion center's mission.
